CoreSat: Dynamics of Earth's core from multi-satellite observations
An ERC funded project using multi-satellite data to investigate the present weakening of the Earth's magnetic field in the South Atlantic. Developing new methods of processing satellite magnetic data, and new models of core magnetohydrodynamics, and combining these using data assimilation techniques to gain new insights into the dynamics of Earth's outer core.
